All UCSC undergraduate and graduate students seeking writing assistance are encouraged to schedule a session.
Scheduling a Writing Tutoring Session
Tutoring sessions are by appointment only. Unscheduled walk-in sessions are not available.
Appointments are online unless special arrangements are made to meet in person.

Monday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Tuesday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Tutoring Hours for Undergraduates
Undergraduates can sign up for writing assistance through two distinct appointment schedules. One schedule is for students enrolled in Writing 1, Writing 1E, Writing 2, or Writing 26. The other schedule is for students who are not enrolled in those classes. For this reason, undergraduate tutoring hours vary. For details, click on the “Appointments” page on this website.
