Due to Covid-19 The Writing Center is currently operating ONLINE ONLY.  Make an appointment to meet virtually with our Writing Mentors!

• Crown College: The Crown College Writing Center (2nd Floor)
• Stevenson College: The Stevenson Writing Center (under the Stevenson Library)
  

Hours:  Monday–Thursday from 10–8 and Friday from 10–6 by appointment

How to Register for and Make Appointments at The Writing Center:

• • Go to our website: writingcenter.ucse.edu
  • Open The Writing Center Schedule (ucsc.mywconline.com)
  • If you are a new user, you will need to register for an account by clicking on the link: “First Visit?: Register for an account”
  • Registered users: enter your login information and choose a writing center schedule

• Undergraduates use The Writing Center schedule 

• Graduate students use the VOCES Graduate Student Writing Center schedule

• • To make an appointment click on an open appointment and schedule your meeting with a Writing Mentor!
    • (RECOMMENDED) Choose a synchronous appointment to meet “in-person” with your Writing Mentor, or
    • Choose an asynchronous appointment for the Writing Mentor to comment on your writing and send it back to you by the end of your scheduled session

For online appointments, return to the schedule and click on the appointment time--your writing mentor will meet you there if you scheduled a synchronous mentoring session
